The Lower Columbia outdone by Kelly and the Spokane, 4-3

Kasey Kelly had two extra base hits, sparking the Spokane (6-2) to a 4-3 victory over the Lower Columbia (9-1) on Saturday at Spokane Falls Community College.

He doubled in the second inning, homered in the third inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

Max Tilton had an impressive outing against the Spokane's lineup. Tilton held the Spokane hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Jared Smith got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered four hits.

Joel Worden (1-1) took the loss for the Lower Columbia. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.

The Spokane were sparked by Tyler Huck and Kelly, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
