The Edmonds jump on the Blue Mountain early and coast to 15-6 win

The Edmonds (9-3) jumped out to an early lead on the Blue Mountain (2-14) and captured a 15-6 victory on Saturday at BMCC Softball Field .

Twelve runs in the first three innings allowed the Edmonds to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Reagan Ingersoll and an RBI single by Paige Matsuki during the first inning and a solo home run by Tia Hedman, a two-run triple by Chantel Brown, and a groundout by Kristina West in the second inning fueled the Edmonds' offense early.

West racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Edmonds.

Megan Ulrey had two extra-base hits for the Blue Mountain. He doubled in the second inning and homered in the third inning.

Hailey Malakowski recorded his seventh win of the year for the Edmonds. He allowed two runs over 2 1/3 innings. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered one hit.

Tiffany Snyder (1-5) took the loss for the Blue Mountain. He allowed 12 runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
