The Edmonds offense too much for the Blue Mountain in 12-1 rout

Story by Narrative Science.

The Edmonds (9-5) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Blue Mountain (4-20), recording a 12-1 victory on Saturday at BMCC Softball Field .

Six runs in the first three innings allowed the Edmonds to put the game away early.

A home run by Bailee Senner during the second inning fueled the Edmonds' offense early.

Senner racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Edmonds.

The Edmonds relied on Hailey Malakowski to eat up innings en route to the win. Malakowski allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out three over six innings of work.

Megan Ulrey ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed 12 runs in six innings, walked five and struck out three.
