Ferrell helps the Olympic down the Everett 7-4

Tiffani Ferrell went 2-4, helping the Olympic (2-12) to a 7-4 victory over the Everett (5-7) on Friday at Lions Field.

He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

The Everett were led by a flawless day at the dish by Sarah Dipietro, who went 2-2 against the Olympic's pitching. He singled in the second inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Rachel Ranyak got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Ranyak struck out seven, walked four and gave up eight hits.

Scarlett Nyenhuis (1-4) took the loss for the Everett. He allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out three.
