Leif Strom kept the Green River (5-32) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Pierce (27-13) beat the Green River, 1-0.

Strom allowed five hits, no walks and struck out five.

It was a good day at the plate for the Pierce's Rayven Kahana. Kahana went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Takashi Fujiwara couldn't get it done on the mound for the Green River, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed one run.
