The bats were busy at Olympic Stadium on Friday, and when the dust cleared the Green River (4-29) had a 15-8 win over the Grays Harbor (2-27).

Eight runs in the opening three innings allowed the Green River to easily put away the Grays Harbor. An RBI double by Matt Stuart, an RBI single by Quinn Burcham, an RBI double by Lenny Smith, a two-run single by Jacob Schaefer, and an RBI single by Kekoa Nahaku during the first inning supplied the early offense for the Green River.
Alex Poltz racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Green River. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the fifth inning.
Taylor Scarvie got his second win for the Green River despite allowing five runs over seven innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered nine hits.
Kyle Standstipher (0-4) took the loss for the Grays Harbor. He allowed nine runs in eight innings, walked eight and struck out eight.
