The Treasure Valley (18-22) blew out the Yakima Valley (5-29) 14-1 on Friday at Heinz/Ore-Ida Regional Softball after pouring on eight runs in the first inning.

The Treasure Valley scored in the first on a two-run double by Madison Wallace, an RBI single by Debbie Henze, a two-run single by Shelby Bartlett, a two-run double by Jordan Hansen, and an RBI single by Elise Shenk.

Bartlett racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Treasure Valley.

Francesca Rodriquez had an impressive outing against the Yakima Valley's lineup. The Yakima Valley managed just three hits off of Rodriquez, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Shelby Wilkey (0-3) took the loss for the Yakima Valley. He allowed 12 runs in one inning, walked none and struck out one.

The Treasure Valley hammered the Yakima Valley pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 15 hits, 11 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
