The Clackamas (1-0) took down the Corban University 12-2 on Saturday at Delta Park after slamming the Corban University with eight runs in the fourth inning.

The Clackamas scored in the fourth on an RBI single by Janelle Rodgers, a two-run error, an error, a two-run triple by Katie Zook, an RBI double by Hailey Frilot, and an RBI single by Cierra Woods.

Frilot went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Clackamas.

Kirkwood racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Corban University. He homered in the first inning.

Emily Marchbanks improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Clackamas. He allowed two runs over four innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered five hits.

Day took the loss for the Corban University. He allowed 12 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
