Jake Vieth drove in five runs, helping the Tacoma (4-0) to a 7-5 victory over the Shoreline (0-6) on Saturday at Curtis High School.
He homered in the second inning.Drey Mclnnes racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Shoreline. He tripled in the seventh inning.
Dustin Wilson got his first win for the Tacoma despite allowing five runs over six innings. He struck out eight, walked two and surrendered five hits.
Connor Anderson (0-1) took the loss for the Shoreline. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked five and struck out three.
