The Clark make the most of 3 hits in 1-0 victory over the Skagit Valley

Both the Clark (18-20) and the Skagit Valley (22-17) put runners aboard on Saturday, but it was the Clark that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 1-0 win.

The fact that the Clark grouped all of their runs into the sixth inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Chris Carns brought the heat against the Skagit Valley during his outing. The Skagit Valley managed just two hits off of the the Clark's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out four during his four innings of work.

The Clark had no answer for Pat Siler, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Clark managed just one hit off of Siler, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Jacob Allbee got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Allbee struck out none, walked two and gave up no hits.

Ryan Fredrickson (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
