The Mt. Hood (6-1) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Walla Walla (2-5), recording a 13-0 victory on Saturday at Walla Walla Community College S.

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the Mt. Hood to put the game away early.

A passed ball during the first inning and an RBI double by Karli Butler, a three-run home run by Darian Lindsey, a solo home run by Rachel Rutledge, and an RBI single by Jazmayne Williams in the second inning fueled the Mt. Hood's offense early.

Lindsey racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Mt. Hood.

Kendal Cox put together a nice outing. Cox held the Walla Walla hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five.
