The Pierce (22-19) shut the door early on the Grays Harbor (0-30), capturing a 10-1 victory on Saturday at Heritage Recreation Center.

Ten runs in the first three innings allowed the Pierce to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Anna Lennox, a groundout by Bailee Bradley, an error, and an error during the first inning and an RBI triple by Emily Bishop, an RBI single by Kali Schouteren, an RBI double by Kailey Nobriga, an RBI double by Bradley, and a sacrifice fly by Lenessa Nelson in the second inning fueled the Pierce's offense early.

Schouteren went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Pierce.

Alyssa Satteson went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Grays Harbor. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

Jessilyn Enlow improved to 8-9 on the year by picking up the win for the Pierce. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Satteson (0-24) took the loss for the Grays Harbor. He allowed 10 runs in three innings, walked one and struck out none.
