Anna Lennox was cold coming off the bench, but Lennox warmed up quickly as Lennox stroked a key pinch-hit single in the one to lead the Pierce (11-15) to a 15-8 win over the Blue Mountain (5-29) on Saturday at Yakima.
With Lennox came to the plate and singled.
Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 23 total runs and 32 hits during the game.
The Pierce blew out the Blue Mountain thanks to 21 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Pierce scored five runs in the sixth on the Pierce scored in the sixth on an RBI single by Emily Bishop, an RBI single by Kali Schouteren, a sacrifice fly by Lennox, a sacrifice fly by Lennox, and a groundout by Bailee Bradley.
Schouteren racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Pierce.
Jessilyn Enlow got his fourth win for the Pierce despite allowing eight runs over four innings. Enlow struck out five, walked two and gave up 10 hits.
Sarah Bonner ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in five innings, walked four and struck out two.
