The Centralia top the Highline behind Capps' 3 hits, 17-5

Kayla Capps clubbed two home runs to carry the Centralia (18-10) to a 17-5 win over the Highline (7-20) at Highline Field in five innings.

The Centralia blew out the Highline thanks to 16 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Centralia scored six runs in the fifth on the Centralia scored in the fifth on a three-run single by Sierra Seymour, a three-run single by Seymour, a groundout by McKenzie Wasson, and a two-run home run by Capps.

Megan Chan racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Highline. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Stefani Gollin ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed 17 runs in five innings, walked one and struck out none.
