Kayla Byers held the Centralia (6-4) scoreless for six innings to boost the Mt. Hood (10-2) to a 8-0 victory.
Byers allowed three hits, two walks and struck out eight.
The Mt. Hood's Byers showed his talents on both sides of the diamond with a strong game on the hill and at the plate.
