Gonzales' single propels the Clackamas past the Clark, 6-2

Five first-inning runs helped the Clackamas (31-10) to a 6-2 win over the Clark (15-21) at Clackamas Community College Sof on Tuesday.

The Clackamas scored in the first on an RBI single by Kylie Gonzales, an RBI single by Kenzi Kluken, an RBI single by Hailey Frilot, a two-run single by Cierra Woods, and a two-run single by Woods.

Gonzales racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Clackamas.

Emily Marchbanks picked up the win for the Clackamas. Marchbanks allowed two earned runs, eight hits and no walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Madison Plummer was charged with his twelfth loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
