The Clackamas drub the Clark, 8-1

The Clackamas (24-7) pounded the Clark (13-13) on Saturday 8-1 at Clark Softball Field in seven innings.

The Clackamas scored three runs in the sixth on the Clackamas scored in the sixth on an RBI double by Ceidilee Norbriga, an RBI single by Katie Zook, and a sacrifice fly by Katie Rose Whestine.

Ashley Dugan boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Clackamas. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.

The Clackamas got the win thanks in large part to Norbriga's dominant, six-strikeout performance. Norbriga allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk over seven innings.

Kelsey Oldham ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked two and struck out two.
