Shayla Baker held the Yakima Valley (4-27) scoreless for 5 2/3 innings to boost the Big Bend (7-18) to a 5-2 victory.

Baker allowed three hits, two walks and struck out five.

The Big Bend were led by Autumn Rollins's hitting. Rollins went 3-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings.

The Yakima Valley were led by Bailey Wade's hitting. Wade went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.

Beth Anderson (1-16) took the loss for the Yakima Valley. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
