Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Pierce (15-19) outscored the Yakima Valley (5-27) 9-8 in eight innings.

The two teams combined for 24 hits in the game.

It was a good day at the plate for the Pierce's Kailey Nobriga. Nobriga went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings.

Bailey Wade racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Yakima Valley. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Anna Lennox recorded his seventh win of the year for the Pierce. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Beth Anderson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixteenth loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in eight innings, walked three and struck out three.
