Hailey Hammer went 2-3, helping the Everett (2-2) to a 6-3 victory over the Yakima Valley (1-5) on Saturday at Dunbar Field .

Rylee Thomas kept contact to a minimum, striking out nine the Yakima Valley batters. Thomas allowed three earned runs, seven hits and three walks over seven innings.

Bailey Wade had two extra-base hits for the Yakima Valley. He tripled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Beth Anderson was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out five.
