Both the Spokane (16-9) and the Blue Mountain (9-16) put runners aboard on Saturday, but it was the Spokane that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 2-1 win at Spokane Falls Community College.

Jake Olson had two extra-base hits for the Spokane. He doubled in the second and seventh innings.

Kade Woods picked up the win for the Spokane. Woods allowed one earned run, eight hits and two walks while striking out five over eight innings of work.

Tyson Wicklander pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out four.

Wicklander ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year.
