The Clackamas (27-7) and the Lower Columbia (27-8) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Clackamas that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-4 win at Tam O' Shanter Park.
Kylie Gonzales racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Clackamas. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
The Lower Columbia were led by Jessica Gibson's hitting. Gibson went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.
Emily Marchbanks got the win, running his season record to 13-3. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered seven hits.
Bailey Ellis ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out two.
