The Olympic make the most of 11 hits in 8-7 victory over the Centralia

The Olympic (17-21) and the Centralia (25-11) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Olympic that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-7 win at Lions Field.

Bethany Balucan-Batangan racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Olympic. He tripled in the fifth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Megan Levang racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Centralia. He homered in the fifth inning.

Even though Rachel Ranyak allowed seven runs over eight innings he still recorded the victory, his ninth of the season. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered 12 hits.

Kierstin Smith couldn't get it done on the bump for the Centralia, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out three.
