Payton Gibbs clubbed two home runs to carry the Bellevue (14-3) to a 12-4 win over the Olympic (2-14) at Lions Field in seven innings.
The offense exploded for the the Bellevue in the sixth. In the inning the Bellevue scored eight runs. The Bellevue scored in the sixth on a solo home run by Gibbs, a two-run double by Rachael Delamare, an RBI double by Tessani Dixon, a sacrifice fly by Alex Boyd, an RBI double by Rayne Sylvester, a solo home run by Gibbs, and a two-run home run by Gibbs.
Bethany Balucan-Batangan had a hot bat for the Olympic. Balucan-Batangan went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Ciera Lockwood got the win, running his season record to 7-1. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered 11 hits.
Rachel Ranyak couldn't get it done on the bump for the Olympic, taking a loss. He allowed 11 runs in six innings, walked seven and struck out two.
The Bellevue's Sylvester, Gibbs, Dixon and Delamare combined for nine hits and 11 RBIs.
