Ryan Engquist went 1-2 as the Lower Columbia (31-12) took home a 5-2 victory over the Grays Harbor (3-30) at David Story Field on Friday.
He tripled in the fourth inning.Kade Kryzsko picked up the win for the Lower Columbia. Kryzsko pitched eight innings and allowed one earned run, seven hits and no walks while striking out two.
Bryce Gourley had two extra-base hits for the Grays Harbor. He doubled in the fifth and seventh innings.
Kyle Standstipher ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked six, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
