The Lower Columbia (24-8) jumped on the Centralia (13-16) early on their way to a 6-3 win on Saturday at David Story Field, scoring six runs in the first inning.

The Lower Columbia scored in the first on an RBI single by Hayden Gerlach, a two-run single by Taylor Davis, a two-run single by Davis, a two-run triple by Ryan Engquist, and an RBI single by Benny Kaleiwahea.

Engquist racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Lower Columbia.

Tyler Parsons improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lower Columbia. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Dane Klenk was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in one inning, walked one and struck out one.
