A walk-off single from Andrew Axmaker brought home the winning run for the Chemeketa (14-10) in a 5-4 victory over the Linn-Benton (14-11) at Chemeketa Baseball Stadium on Friday.

Axmaker got on base three times in the game for the Chemeketa. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the eighth and ninth innings.

Jacob Asa put together a nice outing. The Linn-Benton managed just two hits off of the the Chemeketa's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

KJ Strickland (1-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
