The George Fox JV beat the Linn-Benton (1-1) 6-2 in seven innings on Sunday at TBD behind Cam Lewis, who went 2-3.

The Linn-Benton had no answer for Brandon Casteel, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Linn-Benton managed just two hits off of Casteel, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Ty Deckwa got on base three times in the game for the Linn-Benton. He singled in the third inning.

David Wallum couldn't get it done on the bump for the Linn-Benton, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
