Steven Christen held the Wenatchee Valley (3-24) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Big Bend (20-7) to a 8-0 victory.

Christen allowed six hits, three walks and struck out five.

Five runs in the opening three innings allowed the Big Bend to easily put away the Wenatchee Valley. A two-run double by Blake Springer in the first inning and an error during the second inning helped the Big Bend put some runs on the board early.

Cody Reilly racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Big Bend.

Gerardo Reyes (1-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
