The Blue Mountain (11-16) took down the Big Bend (18-7) 11-3 on Wednesday at Blue Mountain after slamming the Big Bend with 10 runs in the seventh inning.
The Blue Mountain scored in the seventh on a two-run home run by Ben Ross, a two-run double by Spencer Cordeiro, a two-run single by Brennan Serrano, a steal of home by Serrano, a wild pitch, and a two-run double by Ross.
Ross racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Blue Mountain.
Brock Breshears picked up the win for the Blue Mountain. Breshears pitched nine innings and allowed two earned runs, eight hits and two walks while striking out two.
Ryan Grening was hot from the plate for the Big Bend. Grening went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third, seventh, and ninth innings.
Kaleb Granger (2-2) took the loss for the Big Bend. He allowed six runs in one-third of an inning, walked two and struck out none.
