A walk-off from Tyler Barber brought home the winning run for the Big Bend (5-0) in an 8-7 victory over the Thompsons River at Larson Playfield on Friday.

The Big Bend's Dylan Cooper was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.

Sam Glowicki pitched lights out for the Big Bend. The Thompsons River managed just one hit off of the the Big Bend's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

J Young got on base three times in the game for the Thompsons River. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Kaleb Granger improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Big Bend. Granger struck out four, walked one and gave up three hits.

Lehman (0-1) took the loss for the Thompsons River. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked four, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
