A superb effort by V Messon hoisted the The Clown Hammas (5-1) to a 22-3 win in four innings over the Crush 2.0 (1-5) on Sunday at Moriches Complex Field #4.

Messon hit two home runs for the The Clown Hammas. Messon went 2-4 in the game with five RBIs and three runs scored. Messon homered in the third and fourth innings.

Nineteen runs in the first three innings helped the The Clown Hammas blow out the Crush 2.0. An RBI double by Andrew Schwartz, an RBI single by Timmy Delarenzo, a fielder's choice, a two-run single by K Muller, an RBI single by Greg Wurtz, and an RBI single by Christian Huber in the first inning and a double by Schwartz and a two-run triple by M Naboke during the second inning supplied the early offense for the The Clown Hammas.

The Crush 2.0 were led by Lex Bonilla's hitting. Bonilla went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and second innings.

Schwartz got the win, running his season record to 5-0. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Jeff Littwin (0-3) took the loss for the Crush 2.0. He allowed 22 runs in four innings, walked five and struck out none.

The The Clown Hammas pounded the Crush 2.0 pitching, as nine hitters combined for 23 hits, 22 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
