The Treasure Valley (10-13) didn't have a chance on Friday, as the Columbia Basin (21-6) won in blowout fashion, 7-1 in seven innings at Heinz/Ore-Ida Regional Softball.
A three-run home run by Kadi Patterson helped the Columbia Basin score three runs in the first. The Columbia Basin had one hit in the inning.
Patterson racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Columbia Basin.
Kayla Andrews improved to 19-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Columbia Basin. He allowed one run over seven innings. Andrews struck out 15, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Bailee Mills (7-7) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out six.
