Kayla Andrews carried the Columbia Basin (15-6) to a 7-1 victory over the Blue Mountain on Friday at CBC Softball Field with a strong game at the plate and on the hill.
Andrews racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Columbia Basin. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.
Andrews struck out 11, paving the way for a the Columbia Basin win. Andrews allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over seven innings.
Everything was working at the plate for the the Columbia Basin in the third. In the inning the Columbia Basin scored five runs.
Tiffany Snyder (1-7) took the loss for the Blue Mountain (2-17). He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked two and struck out two.
