An outstanding effort by Carlin Dick carried the British Columbia (4-1) to a 5-0 win in seven innings over the Qu��bec one (4-1) on Sunday at Parc Laverdiere one.
Dick's 12 strikeouts helped the British Columbia to the victory. The British Columbia's pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.
Carter Clark reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the seventh inning.
Despite the loss, the Qu��bec one's Mathis Poutre dominated the British Columbia's batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.
Poutre couldn't get it done on the hill for the Qu��bec one, taking a loss.
