Hunter Dronkelaar was cold coming off the bench, but Dronkelaar warmed up quickly as Dronkelaar stroked a key pinch-hit single in the four to lead the Sherwood Park (AB2 (2-2) to a 5-4 win over the St. James (MB1 (1-3) on Saturday at Field one.

With the Sherwood Park (AB2 trailing by one in the fourth inning, Dronkelaar came to the plate and singled.

Cole McGowan was hot from the plate for the Sherwood Park (AB2. McGowan went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Drew Mahoney led the St. James (MB1's offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game.

Liam Robertson improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Sherwood Park (AB2. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. Robertson struck out six, walked six and gave up one hit.

Bryce Magalas couldn't get it done on the hill for the St. James (MB1, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
