Story by Narrative Science.

Both the Lethbridge Bulls (8-0) and the Regina Red Sox (6-5) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the Lethbridge Bulls that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-3 win at Spitz Stadium.

The fact that the Lethbridge Bulls grouped all of their runs into the seventh inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Mitch Dornblut racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Lethbridge Bulls. He tripled in the seventh inning.

Despite the loss, the Regina Red Sox's Skyler Shaw-Fuss dominated the Lethbridge Bulls' batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.

Matthew Beaton got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Louis Cohen was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
