A superb effort by Dakota Hudson spurred the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (5-0) to an 8-1 win over the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox on Sunday at McKeon Park.

Hudson's eight strikeouts helped the Hyannis Harbor Hawks to the victory. Hudson allowed one earned run on two hits and two walks over eight innings.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the fifth. The Hyannis Harbor Hawks' bats caught fire leading to five runs. The Hyannis Harbor Hawks scored in the fifth on an RBI single by Jacob Noll, an error, an error, a two-run error, and a triple by Ryne Birk.

Birk racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks.

Mason Kukowski couldn't get it done on the mound for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (4-2), taking a loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
