Jordan Schulz collected three hits, sparking the Regina Red Sox (6-3) to a 5-4 victory over the Weyburn Beavers (5-4) on Wednesday at Tom Laing Park.

He singled in the first and third innings and tripled in the fourth inning.

The Weyburn Beavers were led by Jordan Anderson's hitting. Anderson went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third, seventh, and ninth innings.

Louis Cohen improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Regina Red Sox. He allowed one run over three innings. Cohen struck out three, walked none and gave up four hits.

Dustin Doucette ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed no runs.
