The Lethbridge Bulls (5-0) beat the Medicine Hat Mavericks (3-4) 6-1 on Sunday at Spitz Stadium behind Brandon Bufton, who went 3-3 at the plate.
He singled in the third, fourth, and eighth innings.Kyle Olliges improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lethbridge Bulls. He allowed one run over six innings. Olliges struck out four, walked four and gave up seven hits.
Victor Soto (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
