Cody Selig kept the St. Joseph Mustangs (2-2) off the board during his six innings of work and the Haysville Aviators (3-1) beat the St. Joseph Mustangs, 4-3.

Selig struck out six and allowed two walks and four hits.

The St. Joseph Mustangs jumped out to an early lead, but they were unable to hang on. The St. Joseph Mustangs were ahead until the ninth inning, but the Haysville Aviators would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on an error.

Sam Beattie improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Haysville Aviators. Beattie struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Austin Aspergren (0-1) took the loss for the St. Joseph Mustangs. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
