The Baltimore Redbirds (3-0) outlasted the Bethesda Big Train (2-1) at Calvert Hall HS 3-2 on Saturday after 15 innings.

With the Baltimore Redbirds trailing by one, reached on an error, scoring Will Golsan.

Stuart Fairchild got on base three times in the game for the Baltimore Redbirds. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Will Stokes put together a nice outing. The Bethesda Big Train managed just one hit off of Stokes, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Emerson Gibbs improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Baltimore Redbirds. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Drew Strotman (0-1) took the loss for the Bethesda Big Train. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
