Peter Lannoo threw a shutout to lift the Victor RailRiders (3-0) to a 4-0 win over the Elmira Pioneers (0-2) at Victor High School.

Lannoo held the Elmira Pioneers scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out six.

It was a good day at the plate for the Victor RailRiders' Evan Fernandez. Fernandez went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Justin Lewis (0-1) took the loss for the Elmira Pioneers. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
