Lyndale Morley kept the Champion City Kings (19-29) off the board during his seven innings of work and the West Virginia Miners (29-20) beat the Champion City Kings, 3-0.

Morley struck out two and allowed three walks and five hits.

Justin Paul racked up two RBIs on three hits for the West Virginia Miners. He singled in the first and fourth innings and tripled in the fifth inning.

Corey Murphy (2-4) took the loss for the Champion City Kings. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
