The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs make the most of 9 hits in 7-6 victory over the Adirondack Trail Blazers

The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (30-18) and the Adirondack Trail Blazers (17-31) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs that eventually took advantage of them in a 7-6 win at Veterans Memorial Park.

Malcolm Kelsey had two extra-base hits for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. He homered in the second inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

Bryan Haberstroh racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the seventh innings.

Even though Ryan OConnor allowed six runs over six innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. He struck out three, walked four and surrendered 10 hits.

Joe King ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked one and struck out one.

The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs were sparked by Anthony Herrera and Kelsey, who teamed up for three hits and five RBIs.
