An RBI double by Matt Peters gave the Washington Wild Things the lead in the seventh inning.

The Washington Wild Things relied on Luke Wilkins to eat up innings en route to the win. Wilkins pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out five.
Kyle Hassna (6-1) took the loss for the Rockford Aviators. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
