Dakota Dean went 0-1, helping the Rockville Express (16-19) to a 1-0 victory over the Baltimore Dodgers (12-23) on Saturday at Montgomery College.

The Baltimore Dodgers had no answer for Cody Mauri, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Baltimore Dodgers managed just three hits off of the the Rockville Express' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Baltimore Dodgers' Derrick Sylve dominated the Rockville Express' batters, giving up one run and striking out five.

Matt Schaeffer improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Rockville Express. Schaeffer struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

Sylve couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Baltimore Dodgers, taking a loss.
