The Adirondack Trail Blazers (10-17) beat the Victor RailRiders (10-12) 4-3 in eight innings on Friday at Victor High School behind Evan Alderman, who went 1-2.

Stephen Himic got the win, running his season record to 1-3. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered four hits.

Mitch Patishall ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
