Early lead not enough for the Alexandria Aces, drop 7-4 decision to the Bethesda Big Train

The Alexandria Aces (18-18) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 7-4 ballgame against the Bethesda Big Train (28-9) on Tuesday at Frank Mann Field.

While the Alexandria Aces led until the tenth inning, the Bethesda Big Train worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run home run by Tim Yandel.

Yandel racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Bethesda Big Train. He homered in the tenth inning.

Michael Rescigno had an impressive outing against the Alexandria Aces' lineup. Rescigno held the Alexandria Aces hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Miller Trevvett recorded his first win of the year for the Bethesda Big Train. Trevvett struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Michael Torres couldn't get it done on the mound for the Alexandria Aces, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
