The Atwater Aviators (11-9) shut the door early on the Valley Sports Academy, capturing a 10-3 victory on Wednesday at Fireman's Memorial Ballpark.

Five runs in the first three innings allowed the Atwater Aviators to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Joe Love, a hit by pitch, a groundout by Dustin Gaither, and a two-run double by Victor Tiscareno in the first inning supplied the early offense for the Atwater Aviators.

Gaither racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Atwater Aviators.

Cole Kanazawa brought the heat against the Valley Sports Academy during his outing. The Valley Sports Academy managed just two hits off of the the Atwater Aviators' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out six during his three innings of work.

D. Borden was solid at the plate for the Valley Sports Academy. Borden went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Marcus Manderbach got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered four hits.

C. Pacheco couldn't get it done on the mound for the Valley Sports Academy, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out none.
